Last updated: 12 August 2026
This Anti-Spam Policy applies to all use of Orbi Hosting services for sending email or other electronic messages. It forms part of our Acceptable Use Policy and protects the reputation and deliverability of our platform for all customers.
1. No unsolicited messages
You must not use the Services to send spam — that is, unsolicited bulk or commercial messages. You may only send marketing messages to recipients who have given valid consent, or where another lawful basis under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR applies.
2. Requirements for legitimate email
- Maintain records that demonstrate consent or another lawful basis for each recipient.
- Include accurate sender information and a working, easy unsubscribe mechanism in marketing messages.
- Honour unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly.
- Do not use harvested, purchased or scraped mailing lists.
- Do not forge headers, disguise the origin of a message, or use misleading subject lines.
3. Consequences of breach
Sending spam, or generating excessive bounce or complaint rates, may result in throttling, suspension or termination of the Service without refund, and may lead to our IP addresses being blocklisted. You are responsible for any harm caused by messages sent through your account.
4. Reporting spam
To report spam originating from our platform, contact [Company Email] with the full message headers where possible.
